🎒 I'm a student
Your teacher (or parent) made you an account. Here's how to get in and get going.
Signing in
- Go to madeinclass.com/class-login.
- Type your class code. It's on your login card, or on the board.
- Tap your name.
- Type your secret word, like
bluefox27. Capital letters don't matter.
Forgot your secret word? Ask your teacher. They can give you a new one in a few seconds.
Doing an assignment
- Open My projects. Assignments are in the 📝 To do box, soonest due first.
- Open one and press Start assignment. You get your own copy of the starter project.
- Work on it in the editor. The yellow bar at the top shows the assignment, when it's due, and your status. Your work saves by itself.
- When you're done, press Turn in. Your teacher sees exactly what you turned in, and you can keep working after. If you change more, press Turn in again.
Getting feedback
When your teacher looks at your work, your status changes:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| ✓ Looks good | You're done! It leaves your To do list. |
| Needs changes | It's back on your To do list. Read the feedback (Read feedback in the editor), fix it, and turn it in again. |
| late | You turned it in after the due date. Your teacher can still see it. |
Making your own stuff
You don't need an assignment to make things. Press New website or New Python program on My projects, or remix anything in the Remix Library. When you publish, it shows up on your portfolio for your class to see.

Be a good classmate
- Keep your secret word to yourself.
- Don't put real names, addresses or photos of people in your projects.
- Remixing is great. Say where your idea came from.
