🏡 Parents & homeschool

Give your kids their own logins, keep everything they make private to your family, and use the same assignment tools teachers use if you're homeschooling.

Set up your family

  1. Make a family account. Sign up → I'm a parent or homeschool with your email and a password. You'll also pick a username for yourself and a family name (only your family sees it).
  2. Add your kids. You land on your family page. Under Add kids, type a nickname for each child. Each one gets a secret word to sign in with. No email needed, and we don't ask for their age or real name.
  3. Sign them in. On their computer, go to class-login, type your family's code (shown at the top of your family page), tap their name, and type their secret word. Show login cards prints it all out if that's easier.

Is it safe for my kids?

  • No personal info from kids. Just the nickname you pick. No email, no birthday, no photos.
  • Private by default. Only your family can see what your kids publish. You can make a child's portfolio public from your family page if you want to share it.
  • Kid code can't reach accounts. Projects run on a separate website address from the main site.
  • No ads, no tracking, and we never sell data. See the Privacy Policy.
  • You're in control. You can delete any child's account, and everything in it, from your family page.
Kids under 13 can't sign up by themselves. If they try, they're asked to get a grown-up. That's you, and this page.

Homeschooling with it

Your family works just like a class, so you get the same tools teachers use:

  • Assignments. Pick a starter project, write instructions, set a due date. Your kids see it on their To do list. How assignments work →
  • Feedback. Look at what they turned in, running, and write feedback. Mark it ✓ Looks good or Needs changes.
  • A ready-made path. The Remix Library goes from beginner (Snake, Space Miner Clicker, Castle Escape) to advanced (Maze Maker & Solver). Each project lists what it teaches and gives five challenges, easiest first.
